Archivist Duties
As County Archivist, Tori is tasked with scanning and indexing the documents for several offices. This includes:
Assessor's Office:
Land Books, Maps, Other Documents as needed.
County Clerk's Office:
All Documents in the Vault. We have finished to Deed Book 91 and are currently working on The County Commission Order Books. We also maintain the scanning of Plats on a regular basis.
Circuit Clerk's Office:
Currently we are working on books (Nearly complete!) and indexing the old documents in the boxes (I do not know their lineage).
Basement:
Sadly, sometime in the past, books were stored in the basement. I have spoken with the state and we have a plan to fix this as best as we can. Most of this is beyond it's retention time.
The basement has been entirely Inventoried.
